What is Pad Thai?

Pad Thai originated in Thailand and it is a stir-fry noodle dish with a peanut sauce, topped with crushed peanuts, various meats, eggs and vegetables.

Pad Thai Ingredients:

These portion will make approximately 4 servings.

Pad Thai Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Cook your rice noodles until almost cooked.
  2. Combine all of the sauce ingredients into a bowl.
  3. In a large pan, pour 1 1/2 of your oil and fry your protein until almost cooked.
  4. Pushing the protein aside, pour the rest of your cooking oil, then fry your garlic, sprouts, and Thai chilies.
  5. Once the garlic is almost golden brown, crack 4 eggs into the pan and scramble.
  6. Turn off the heat, and add in the noodles and Pad Thai sauce.

Assembly:

You can portion out the noodles from the pan and top it with the crushed peanuts, sriracha, lime, and whatever you desire.
